Our Centers
The three FRIENDS facilities are located in Richmond communities where the challenge to succeed is great: Church Hill, North Jackson Ward and Winchester Greens in Chesterfield County.
While not obvious from the outside, FRIENDS centers are state-of-the-art. The centers are warm, appealing and clean. In 2005, various Richmond artists have donated their time and talent to enhance the inner walls of the centers with bright and colorful murals.
Children 6 weeks to 12 years are taught subjects that inspire them to learn and grow. And the broad curriculum would be the envy of any childcare program. Our teachers and tutors work with youngsters on life and social skills development and cultural enrichment.
Our preschool programs are aligned with the philosophy and objectives of the Head Start Program. Our School-Age Program offers tutorial services aligned with the Virginia Department of Education’s Standards of Learning (SOL) requirements.
FRIENDS has three locations throughout metro Richmond.
