Our newest center opened in 2003 in Richmond’s Churchill community. The center is named for the Rev. Dr. Robert L. Taylor, pastor emeritus of Fourth Baptist Church, the first black Baptist Church in Churchill and one of Richmond’s oldest African American congregations.
Dr. Taylor is known for his civil rights work in establishing interracial ministeral alliances in Richmond.
