Leadership & Career Advancement
FRIENDS assists adults with employment preparation and career development.
The goal of the six-month Leadership & Career Advancement Program is to provide adults in low and moderate income communities with opportunities to make their dreams come true, to become self-sufficient.
We believe that in order to help the child, we must also help the parent. What makes this program so special is that it is totally family-focused. The program meets one night per week for two hours.
- The cost of the program is subsidized by community grants.
- Transportation in most areas around centers is provided on FRIENDS vans.
- Childcare is provided on-site for 2-12 year olds.
- Dinner is provided each week for all.
